Air Intake for Audi RS3 Headlight

Introducing another global novelty - a specially designed carbon fiber air intake for the Audi RS3 8V headlight.

Due to the increasing popularity of the RS3 as a serious track car, we have developed an additional part for our air intake to give you an extra edge. This air intake replaces the original headlight, providing a true RAM-AIR configuration with a direct flow of cold air to the filter. The air intake follows the same lines as the standard headlight and features two carbon fiber air intakes to direct airflow to the filter. It also features ventilation holes on the perpendicular surface for airflow to prevent resistance. Tested on the track at speeds exceeding 190 mph, we ensured that the benefit of air supply outweighs any additional resistance, providing gains in lap times. Since this intake replaces the main intake duct inside the engine compartment, this area now remains open as a source of engine cooling. As the car moves, external air flows into the grille and through the standard vents above the engine, providing additional cooling effect. The headlight air intake allows for the most direct flow of cold air and significantly aids in reducing heating, maintaining consistent lap times on the track.

The Eventuri RS3 headlight air intake system is made from pre-impregnated carbon fiber designed to meet specific objectives and crafted with the utmost care.

Each headlight air intake system consists of:

• Carbon fiber headlight air intake
• Carbon fiber headlight air intake connector
• Laser-cut stainless steel brackets

Headlight Air Intake

The headlight air intake directs air directly to the filter. By using 2 guiding blades, incoming air is smoothly directed to the second air intake connector. The pre-impregnated carbon fiber construction provides rigidity, and the stainless steel bracket work ensures it is secured even at speeds exceeding 190 mph. To minimize resistance, we added protrusions on the perpendicular surface for airflow as the car moves forward. By sealing the air intake connector to the intake - this system provides a RAM-AIR effect while keeping intake temperatures as low as possible for the RS3 due to its completely sealed design. An additional benefit is additional engine bay cooling - as this headlight air intake replaces the intake inside the engine bay, the standard intake space behind the grille is now open. So when the car is in motion, cold air enters the engine bay and acts on cooling the intake manifold. This combination of low intake temperatures and engine cooling ensures consistent track times as heating is minimized.

Intake Duct

The intake connector seals the headlight air intake along the surface of the air intake itself. The rubber seal around the intake connector allows movement of the intake with the engine while maintaining seal integrity. This prevents the intake of warm air from the engine bay through the air intake. Again, made from pre-impregnated carbon fiber, the intake connector is both functional and adds aesthetic appeal to the engine bay.
