Eventuri Intake Audi R8 V10 4S 2015+ and Lamborghini Huracan
EVE-HCN-CF-INT
Inlet Audi R8 V10 4S / Lamborghini Huracan
Power Increase: 12-15 Hp, 20Nm
The intake system for the Audi R8 V10 4S / Lamborghini Huracan by Eventuri is a harmony of form and function. Our goal was to create a flagship intake and set a standard for this platform - by using organic curves and pre-impregnated carbon fiber, the results speak for themselves. Gone are the awkward-looking plastic airboxes shaped like cubes, replaced by a beautifully designed system that provides smoother airflow and unleashes the magnificent sound of the V10. Every detail has been considered, from impeccably finished carbon fiber with integrated MAF tubes to heat shields and custom silicone connectors. More power, improved throttle response, and intoxicating intake sound to enhance the driving experience of the R8/Huracan. The car will require tuning to allow the intakes to operate without triggering the Check Engine Light. This is due to the narrow MAF range set by the factory, which is exceeded by the increased airflow provided by the intakes.
Eventuri Difference
The R8/Huracan Eventuri intake system utilizes our patented carbon fiber Venturi housing, which provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the MAF tube. This is not just another conical filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that induces the Venturi effect. More information on the housing design and its operation can be found HERE.
Below are independent dyno charts showing a comparison between Eventuri and the standard Huracan Airbox with tuning. The only change between the runs was the intake itself. All runs already had tuning applied. As seen, power and torque are increased across a large portion of the rev range, not just at the top. This translates to increased throttle response both during partial and full load, and the car accelerates much more eagerly towards the redline. Tests were conducted on the same consecutive day, and temperature was monitored to ensure consistency. Since dyno results vary between consecutive runs, this chart shows the highest achieved power value with the standard setup compared to the highest value achieved with Eventuri.
Eventuri Kit
The Eventuri intake system for the Huracan consists of several components designed to achieve specific goals and made to the highest standards. We use 100% carbon fiber with pre-impregnated resin, which means we can achieve a smooth internal surface to maintain smoother airflow. Here are the details of each component and the design ethos behind them:
Each intake system consists of:
- Carbon fiber Venturi filter housings
- Custom-fitted, high-flow cone filters
- Carbon fiber air scoops
- Individually tailored silicone connectors
- Oil vapor extraction adapter (OPF/DWNA)
- Laser-cut heat shields
- Laser-cut stainless steel brackets
Venturi Housing Filter Assemblies
The filter housings consist of a high-flow filter, aluminum housing, laser-cut brackets, and the carbon fiber shroud itself. The carbon fiber shroud surrounds the filter mounted in reverse and smoothly shapes the airflow down the intake tubes. This smooth reduction in cross-sectional area induces the Venturi effect, where airflow accelerates while maintaining laminar conditions. This can be likened to a large velocity column - below is a diagram showing a comparison between our patented design and a regular intake system.
Carbon Fiber Air Scoops
The duct seals to the housing and directs ambient air from the side air inlets to the filter. It mates with the factory air guidance system and smoothly transitions into the circular shape of the filter housing. To ensure a well-sealed barrier from the heat of the engine bay, it seals to the filter housings using neoprene gaskets.
Custom Silicone Connectors
The filter housings are attached to the intake manifold using our own connectors, which replace OEM flexible hoses. Our connectors provide a much smoother airflow path to the intake manifold and feature internal steps matched to the throttle body walls, ensuring smooth airflow without turbulence. Movement is accommodated within the filter housing itself.
