Eventuri Audi S1 2.0 TFSI Black Carbon intake
Innovative Intake System
The Eventuri Audi S1 intake has been meticulously developed to provide the most efficient and direct airflow path to the turbocharger. By replacing the original airbox with our patented Venturi housing, we ensure that the airflow remains as laminar as possible, resulting in excellent engine performance.
Learn how it works?
Effective Airflow Redirection
Our Venturi technology ensures optimal airflow to the turbocharger, resulting in better engine performance and responsiveness. By eliminating unnecessary restrictions, our intake allows the engine to breathe more freely, resulting in a noticeable increase in power.
Unique Design
This is not just another standard cone filter with a heat shield. Our unique design allows for the maintenance of laminar airflow, which in turn improves turbocharger efficiency and generates a significant increase in power.
The Eventuri intake for Audi S1 is not just a product; it's an innovative solution that enhances the performance and responsiveness of your car. With advanced technology and precision engineering, our intake ensures excellent performance and reliability at every stage of driving.
The Eventuri intake system for Audi S1 consists of several components designed to fulfill a specific purpose and crafted to the highest standards. Here are the details of each component and the design principles behind them:
Each intake system consists of:
- Prepreg Carbon Fiber Venturi Housing
- High Flow Generation 2 Air Filter
- Aluminum Cowl for Smooth Airflow Entry
- Laser Cut Intake Duct
- Laser Cut Cold Air Inlets
- Laser Cut Stainless Steel Brackets
Carbon Fiber Housing
Our intake system for Audi S1 utilizes a patented carbon fiber housing that not only provides excellent strength and lightweight properties but also effectively directs airflow from the filter to the turbocharger pipe.
The filter housing consists of a high-flow filter, aluminum housing, laser-cut bracket, and the carbon fiber base itself. The carbon fiber base surrounds the reverse-mounted filter and smoothly shapes the airflow down the intake pipe. This smooth reduction in cross-sectional area invokes the Venturi effect, where airflow accelerates while maintaining laminar conditions. It can be likened to a large velocity stack - below is a diagram comparing our patented design to a standard intake system.
Intake Duct
The intake duct replaces standard rubber hoses and directs ambient air to the filter housing. It effectively blocks heat from the engine bay and ensures that intake temperatures remain as low as possible.
The final part of the intake is the aluminum scoop, which is placed behind the grille and directs surrounding air into the intake duct. When the car is in motion, this scoop effectively drives air into the intake duct and removes any ingress of hot air from the engine bay. By introducing air into the intake duct, the filter housing has a ready supply of surrounding air and does not need to draw air from the front, reducing the intake track length.
Cold Air, Higher Efficiency
In addition, our Eventuri intake provides access to genuine cold air through a specially designed inlet in the front grille. This ensures that intake air temperatures remain as low as possible, which is crucial for optimal engine performance, especially during intensive use.
The standard airbox is cuboid in shape, which causes turbulence and increases the turbocharger's drag. The transition from the rectangular air filter to the round turbo inlet causes inefficiencies in the flow path, which are addressed by our Venturi housing system.
The dyno graphs below show the results before and after on a Golf 7 R (the same engine as the Audi S1), which already had modified software. Both the standard airbox and Eventuri were tested with the same modified software in place. All tests were conducted with the engine hood closed on all occasions.
