Compatibility: C8 Stingray Coupe and Hard Top Convertible
The Eventuri C8 Corvette intake system sets a new standard on this platform for the most efficient intake and largest internal volume available*. Due to the limitation in size and shape of the intake by the original trunk flap, we redesigned it to allow for a larger intake. We crafted it from transparent polycarbonate to showcase the carbon intake when opening the trunk. Utilizing our patented Venturi housing concept, airflow can move through the filters with a much less taxing path, reducing system resistance. Additionally, by increasing the overall volume in the intake, flow capacity is also increased, allowing for maximum utilization of performance gains in higher-powered engines. Intake air temperatures have been minimized by ensuring a sealed system, utilizing factory air ducts, and employing carbon fiber, which has a low thermal conductivity through wall thickness. The resulting system provides market-leading performance gains and noticeable throttle response improvement.
Eventuri Difference
The C8 Corvette Eventuri system utilizes our patented carbon fiber housings, providing an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the engine. It's not just another cone filter with a thermal shield, but a unique design that invokes the Venturi effect. More information about the housing design and its operation can be found HERE.

Performance Test
Our C8 intake was independently tested by Corvette specialists, Paragon Performance in Iowa, as well as tuning specialists MSL Performance in the UK. Tests were conducted on completely stock cars with the original airbox, and the Eventuri intake was tested directly one after the other on the same day. Paragon Performance conducted tests in their closed-cell environment, while recording temperatures and fuel correction values. Full stock C8 tests were conducted at stabilized engine temperatures, then the car was left on the dyno during intake installation. After installing the intake, the car was allowed to reach the same temperatures, and performance data was then measured. This ensured testing was conducted independently, with variables balanced between the stock airbox and the Eventuri intake.
As seen, gains are measurable throughout the rev range, not just at the top, which is more significant as the increased area under the graph shows that the intake affects beyond peak values. This gain, even on a stock car, is noticeable on the road due to improved throttle response and faster acceleration.
Eventuri Chevrolet Corvette C8 Kit
The Eventuri C8 Corvette intake system consists of several components designed to fulfill a specific purpose and crafted with utmost precision. We utilize 100% carbon fiber with pre-pregs, without any fiberglass, enabling us to achieve a smooth internal surface to maintain smoother airflow.
Each intake system includes:
- Dual Venturi carbon fiber filter housing
- Individually designed high-flow cone filters
- Carbon fiber inlet ducts
- Transparent polycarbonate trunk plate
- Internally stepped silicone connector
- Laser-cut stainless steel and thermal shield brackets
- Individually designed inlet collars
- Individually designed flexible hoses
Patented Air Filter Housing
The C8 filter housing is designed with two of our patented Venturi capsules, merging into a single outlet. It consists of two individually designed high-flow filters, aluminum shields, laser-cut brackets, and the carbon fiber capsule itself. The carbon fiber capsule surrounds the filters mounted in reverse and smoothly shapes airflow towards the throttle body. This smooth reduction in cross-sectional area induces the Venturi effect, where airflow accelerates while maintaining laminar conditions. This can be likened to a large velocity cone - below is a diagram comparing our patented design with a standard intake system.
Individual Air Filters
To achieve maximum flow performance, we designed the filter element to efficiently utilize the available space in the engine bay. This new filter has an outer diameter of 192 mm or 7.6 inches, and when flow tested with a 4-inch opening housing, it was able to achieve a flow of up to 900 CFM at 28" H2O. The filter medium is tested to ISO standards to ensure OEM-grade filtration and is dry. The filter is constructed with our characteristic flow cones to support the Venturi housing principle.
Carbon Fiber Inlet Tubes
The duct channels direct ambient air from the side inlets to the filter housing. To ensure a well-sealed duct against the heat in the engine bay, they are fastened to the filter housing at three points and utilize a neoprene seal for a tight seal. The tubes are designed to have the maximum internal volume possible within the given engine bay geometry. This ensures that the filter housing can draw air with minimal restriction.
Transparent Trunk Plate
Designing a high-volume intake with smooth airflow to the engine was not possible due to limited space, partly due to the original trunk flap, so we redesigned it to accommodate our intake. We took this opportunity to showcase carbon fiber, so we made the panel from transparent polycarbonate. This allows for the intake to be visible when the trunk flap is open - a novelty in the industry for this platform.
Mounting Brackets
We designed a frame that allows for the mounting of original wire harnesses and keeps them out of sight. Bracket work is laser-cut from stainless steel and aluminum.
Intake Flanges
We designed a frame that allows for the mounting of original wire harnesses and keeps them out of sight. Bracket work is laser-cut from stainless steel and aluminum.
Silicone Connector
Our silicone connector replaces the stock throttle connector. It mates with the original throttle body and features internal steps covering the wall thickness of both the throttle body and the carbon intake to provide a smooth path to the manifold.
The entire system creates a complete solution that improves performance, aesthetics, and sound compared to the stock airbox.
