Eventuri Intake Honda FK2 Civic Type R RHD Carbon V2 Reinforced
EVE-FK2V2-CF-RHD-INT
Intake HONDA CIVIC FK2 TYPE R V2
Performance Increase: 24-30 HP, 28-35 Nm
The FK2 Type R V2 intake is an updated version of our original FK2 system, now replacing the stock rubber intake pipe with our carbon fiber pipe and specially tailored silicone hose. The new carbon fiber pipe also houses the MAF sensor and replaces our original metal MAF pipe from the Eventuri's original system. Adding the carbon fiber pipe smoothens the path from the Venturi filter housing to the stock turbocharger intake pipe, resulting in a significant increase in additional performance. The rest of the intake remains the same, with our cold air inlet and Venturi filter housing ensuring smooth airflow and low intake temperatures. By integrating effective cold air induction, lacking in the stock system, and combining it with our patented Venturi housing and carbon fiber intake pipe, our intake delivers market-leading results - consistently. Available in full carbon fiber and hybrid red kevlar/carbon fiber versions.
Eventuri Difference
The FK2 Type R V2 Eventuri system utilizes our patented carbon fiber housing with our Gen 2 filter, providing an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from filter to turbocharger. It's not just another cone filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that induces the Venturi effect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce turbocharger resistance. More information on the housing design and its operation can be found HERE.
Performance Test
The standard airbox draws air from the engine bay, which, once the engine reaches operating temperature, will be very hot. Simply placing an open cone filter with any number of heat shields in the same location will result in exactly the same problem - the system will draw hot air, resulting in potential power loss. Our intake system utilizes cold air intake from the panel beneath the front windshield, allowing the filter to be saturated with cold ambient air regardless of how hot the engine bay gets. This, combined with our unique Venturi housing ensuring smooth airflow, results in an immediate power increase across the entire RPM range of 24-30 HP and a significant increase in torque of 28-35 Nm compared to the stock airbox. The dyno graph shows the comparison between the Eventuri V2 Intake and the stock intake system, using stock tuning and an external intercooler (for all runs). As seen, multiple runs were conducted to show the consistency of power gains compared to the stock system. Tests for each configuration were conducted on the same day, one after the other, and temperatures were monitored to ensure consistency.

Cone Filter Housing
Made from 100% top-quality pre-preg carbon fiber, the work on the housing leaves nothing to be desired. This housing surrounds the filter and is connected to the aluminum inlet shroud to provide a smooth airflow path to the inlet. The filter itself is a deeply pleated, dry filter made specifically to our requirements. The carbon Venturi housing smoothly shapes the airflow down the MAF tube and provides laminar conditions to reduce resistance on the turbocharger and avoid MAF sensor errors. By being able to draw air through the turbine with less restriction, the engine can produce more power.
The filter housing consists of a high-flow filter, aluminum shroud, V-Band clamp, laser-cut mounting bracket, and the patented carbon fiber housing itself. The carbon fiber housing surrounds the filter mounted in reverse and smoothly shapes the airflow down the intake pipe. This geometry induces the Venturi effect where airflow accelerates while maintaining laminar conditions. This can be compared to a large velocity cone - below is a diagram showing the comparison between our patented design and a standard intake system. Our individually made filters assist airflow through the housings and allow for a consistent velocity profile as the air leaves the housings.
Cold Air Inlet
The cold air channel shown here in a hybrid red combination of carbon and kevlar is designed to capture cold ambient air and direct it to the filter housing. It's a key component of our system that provides direct and continuous cold air flow to the filter, regardless of how hot the engine bay gets. The stock airbox and any other intake system without a cold air feed will suffer from heat-soaked intake and power loss as the engine bay temperature rises. A neoprene seal around the top edge of the channel seals it against the inlet panel. Additionally, at the bottom of the channel, there's a water drain - attached to it is a PVC pipe that directs water back onto the road.
Custom Undertray Panel
For ease of installation, we provide the original panel, precisely trimmed to ensure a perfect fit for the cold air channel.
Carbon Fiber Intake Pipe
Our new carbon fiber intake pipe replaces the stock rubber pipe and, as a result, smoothens the path from the filter housing to the turbocharger inlet. The carbon fiber pipe includes a CNC-machined MAF sensor mount, so there are no further interfaces after leaving the filter housing. The pipe provides a more gradual change of direction from the filter to the stock turbo inlet pipe compared to the stock rubber pipe - further increasing flow efficiency. Below is a comparison between the stock and carbon fiber pipes.
Custom Silicone Hose
The final component of our FK2 V2 system is the silicone hose, which connects the carbon fiber pipe to the metal turbo inlet pipe. This component features an internal step that mates with the stock metal turbo inlet pipe and eliminates the protruding thickness of the metal pipe wall. Many silicone hoses available on the market simply slip onto this metal pipe and leave the end exposed to incoming air, causing turbulence. Below is an image showing the internal step.
The combination of the carbon fiber pipe and silicone hose provides a much smoother path from the filter to the turbocharger inlet - tests have shown a significant improvement in power.
These components come together to create our FK2 intake system, which unlocks more power and torque from the engine, provides better throttle response, and produces an incredible intake sound improvement.
